...

Well, let's see...in the past months I've been told lots of stuff about Inception.
And they weren't good...at all."Boring" was the most common word I could find in every comment ppl I know made me about the movie.
(I was the only one I haven't seen it in theaters by that time.)

But a hunch told me that I should not let this one pass.

So,fearing the worst (which is losing precious time to a boring movie),I took the DVD to home, sit on the couch, and pushed the play button.

...

I never got up of the couch.
Not a single time.

Let me "explode" my feelings towards you right now:

*Ahem*

THIS IS THE GREATEST MOVIE I'VE SEEN IN THE LAST DECADE!! AMAZING! CLEVER! DEEP! BREATHTAKING! JESUS MARIA AND JOSEPH!...

AND IF IT DOESN'T WIN AT LEAST AN OSCAR,I'LL BE VERY UPSET!! >: (

Seriously people? BORING!!?? Im dissapointed to mankind!! =/

(Here comes the rant)

I mean, this is some kind of "trend" I've been noticing in the last 5 years or so,where a complex movie would be inmediately labelled as "boring"! People doesn't reason and think anymore!?

Heck! and here I tought I was kinda slow when it came to complex situations! and this movie reminded me that im smarter than I could remember! (Thank you Mr Nolan, for giving me hope again)

I noticed myself going ahead of the script by a few seconds, but not because it was predictable! but because I could understand every single situation in the movie!
And the "Final fight" with "himself" in limbo? beautiful! And clever! how the script made Cobb face his own deepest feelings and guilts, and finally overcome them! This is pure, fresh psyquiatry material for college! They should study this movie at any psyquiatry class there is!

So whenever somebody say to you that a "movie is boring/dont pay the ticket/dont waste you time"...I say, follow your guts, and DO IT! You'll be surprised of what you've missed all the time.

...

Oh,and, how do you know if you've become kinda obsessed with a movie? When you find yourself watching at every possible review there is on the internet about it! That's how!!

...

(My favourite review of it,by the way) :XD:

UPDATE:
You thought I forgot about M3W,dont you?
Well I havent.Im writing it right now =)

Oh,also,I erased all the comments by cleaning my inbox (11,000 unreaded messages?...NO WAY! -delete all-)
So if there is something important you wanted to tell me,now its the time to ask/send it to me again. :XD:

UPDATE 2

Holy crap! how should I feel about this!?

I understood almost everything else EXCEPT the part where they are talking about "limbo". Does that mean if he dies then, he will stay in the "dream world" instead of waking up and be considered "dead"?

I'd say The King's Speech is more likely to get the Oscar. Still, Inception sounds great, I'll get it on DVD.

I hate it when people say Christopher Nolan movies are boring: my parents fell asleep while watching The Dark Knight, while I had my eyes glued to the screen. His movies are very thought provoking, even the ones about billionaire-playboys running around Gotham City in a spandex bat-suit. Though Nolan is not quite on the same level yet, the same could be said about Stanley Kubrick. Many people think 2001: A Space Odyssey is paced too slow, but it's one of my favorite movies even though I was born almost 30 years after its release.

Are you going to do any Inception-inspiried art work?

Repeating my comment from December-

Just a quick question- I know you haven't given up Pokemon entirely, but I'm not sure about FUSE Corp. Any chance you'll ever come back to it? I was so looking forward to that Octillery/Mawile/Ariados fusion... :(

Er... well, that sounded selfish... ^^;

"HOORAY!
*BHOOF*
GOD DAMN IT!"

I did definitely love Inception, though the "limbo" thing kind of lost me at the end though. I couldn't quite grasp how limbo (as in the place) seemed to be a universal place, in that everything they built is still there, as if it is a physical place. That was hard to word.
