If Arceus is the God of all Pokemon,and gave birth to all of them...where do humans came from? Why is the human being the only creature that is different to Pokemon in all the world? because as far as I know,there were no regular pets in the series or the games.
With this question in mind,I came up with the idea of the lost link on human evolution. (In Pokemon of course!
)
Perhaps humans where Pokemon too!,but evolved further and in a different way,leaving all the type weaknesses,attacks and energy beams,to concentrate on developing inteligence,tools,and a society.
(The lake trio,Uxie,Mesprit,and Azelf,play an important role in all of this
)
This guys where letal for other predators as a group.
They where smarter,and really strong (They loved to hunt Tyranitars,as it proved a real challenge for a whole group)
Eventually,the Minid/Homanid evo line became the strongest Pokemon on ground.
Alone,it was just another Pokemon.Smarter,yes,but not too powerful...but together,they were unstoppable.
However,this evolutive line is not only related to humans,but its also the ancester of most humanoid Pokemon.
(Tyrogue,Machop,Abra,Drowzee...even Nuzleaf and cubone,who doesnt belong to the "Humanshape" group,and maybe more.Maybe a little of Abomasnow too!) This is the main reason of why you can relate Homanid to a Tyrogue,nuzleaf,cubone and such
In fact,Machop,Machoke and Machamp are the modern forms of these ancient line.The Machop line evolved after the Minid/Homanids who refused to stop using their strenght and decided to expand their physical cappabilities.
However,to this day,even humans can come in contact with their ancient powers and strenght.(Through sports.Especially competitive martial arts.)
Yes.Under an incredible amount of stress,combined with the competition factor,lets our inner fighting powers set loose.

Does this mean humans still have a type? No,we have no more type weakness or resistances,but we are weak to any form of harm though! (Unless we are Normal Type maybe?
)
The closest to be able to control this powers,is no other than Bruno,the Kanto Elite Four.His punches and kicks are super effective against Ice,steel,rock and dark Pokemon
